"Retro-rocking horses." I inherited this 1944 pattern from my father. He made them for me and my cousins! I enjoy making these in various sizes I call them:
- PETITE (9" seat, great for stuffed bunnies & bears)
- HALF-PINT (13" seat, child size 2-3 yr.)
- PATIO (28" seat, adult size holds real saddle & bridle, outdoor wood)
- These are also available as stick horses (36" stick).
Many "baby boomers" recall having these popular '40's & '50's ponies themselves and are purchasing them for their grandchildren!
FOR SAFETY: All stains and paints used on the rocking horse have been researched to be free of lead or pthalates.
NOTE: It is best to pick horses up at shows, as they are difficult to ship. Shipping is possible, although expensive, if it is your only recourse.
